Registration for the 2009 Let Your Imagination Take Flight Conference (March 27-28, 2009) begins in January.
Registration will be on online again this year. You can find a Web-based registration form around the first week of January 2009 at the New England Chapter's website, www.necwra.org, under the Conference section. On the website will be a registration link as well as registration instructions. A secure process will be used to ensure payment privacy.
Registration will include:
Signing up for the conference
Requesting an editor/agent appointment (optional)
Selecting the EXTRA Workshop (optional)
Selecting meal preferences
If requesting an editor/agent appointment, you will be asked to provide your first choice as well as at least two alternates. The Conference Committee strives in all cases to provide first choice appointments, but alternate choices are needed in the event an editor or agent is overbooked.

If you wish to attend the Friday EXTRA Workshop: Conquering the Dreaded Synopsis with New York Times best-selling author Lisa Gardner, register early since only the first 100 registrants who select the workshop will be given a ticket due to space limitations.
Information about reserving a hotel room at the Sheraton Tara in Framingham will is also provided. The Conference Committee is working with the hotel to secure a reduced rate for conference attendees. Look for an update soon! Due to rising costs, no brochures will be mailed to previous conference attendees as in years past. Registrants have the option to print the online form and send it directly to the Registration Chair, Katie Garvey, if they cannot use the online form for some reason.
On a side note, each year at the conference several wonderful gift baskets are given away as door prizes. The Conference Committee requests that if anyone is interested in supplying a gift basket you contact Conference Committee Chair Tara Holt, at conference@necrwa.org, for more information.
